Class Styles
Reformer Pilates

Our signature reformer class. A challenging Pilates flow that can be easily modified for any fitness level. Taught with options for layers of difficulty, this class is great for both beginners and advanced clients.

A pilates workout with more strength building sequences including heavier springs, back platform, use of hand weights and lots of planks. Still accessible for Pilates beginners who are currently active. Currently only offered at our Rochester studio.

Taught by trained experts in perinatal fitness, classes are a welcoming community for moms to be, moms, and babies*. Build strength, including core strength, that prepares you for pregnancy, labor and postpartum recovery. Appropriate for all stages of pre and postpartum.
*Yes, you can bring your non-mobile baby.

A strength focused version of our reformer class. This class incorporates two, 10lb weights and heavier springs to bias strength sets mixed with your favorite Pilates flows. Reformer class experience at The Reformery is required before taking this class.

Like a sculpt class but taught in our separate, heated mat studio, using just a mat and more props. Studio is heated with infrared heat. Candlelit classes are in a dark room with artificial candle light.

Heated and nonheated classes available.
A strength focused version of our hot mat Pilates class. This class utilizes a 20lb bar and two 10-lb weights (with the optional additional 2lb and 3lb weights to modify or amplify. You can expect a class with your favorite mat Pilates flows plus strength sets paced slower with heavier weights. Class will focus on form and strategic strength-based programming utilizing 10-20+ lbs of weight with most sets.
